Multiquence is a multitrack digital audio processor from the same author who created GoldWave.
It features an incredibly fast and easy to use interface. All editing is performed instantly, which means you can drag-and-drop, trim, copy, and split files without any processing time! Several realtime effects, such as volume envelopes, flange, speed, and equalizers, can be applied to each file. Supports .wav, .voc, .aif and .au digital audio files.
Multiquences unique design and virtual editing features completely eliminate the need to copy and paste audio to the clipboard. The Copy command simply adds another copy of the section to the track, where it can be dragged to a new position. Audio is played directly from the original file. No temporary files are needed, saving valuable time and storage space.
Depending on the speed of your hard disk, realtime playback from 2 (low end system) to 8 (high end system) 44.1kHz, 16-bit, stereo tracks is possible. The File | Save as wave command allows an unlimited number of tracks to be mixed. To reduce swapping overhead, virtual memory should be configured to a fixed amount (minimum and maximum set to 20MB, for example).
